Conductive Liner

The liner sits between the product and the bag

The problem it prevents

A conductive bag with a plain liner inside it is not a safe system.

Many plants do not realise this. The liner sits between the product and the bag, so if it holds charge, the bag's protection is defeated.

If you are running conductive bags today, it is worth checking what liner is inside them. A plain PE liner is a live gap.

What it is

A static-dissipative liner for use inside FIBCs and bulk containers that handle flammable powders or solvent-wetted products. Filling and discharging bulk material creates a large amount of static charge. The conductive liner gives that charge a controlled path away, instead of letting it collect on the film surface.

Key features

  • Static-dissipative film construction
  • Reduces the risk of ignition in flammable atmospheres
  • Works with both Type C and Type D bag systems
  • Defined grounding arrangement where it is needed

Specification

Materials
Conductive polyethylene film.
Sizes
Made to your container's internal dimensions.
Applications
Flammable powders, solvents, combustible dusts, pharmaceutical and fine chemical processing.
Where it is used
Fine chemical and pharmaceutical plants, solvent handling areas, and any classified hazardous zone.

How we build it

We look at the bag and the liner together as one system rather than selling the liner in isolation. Where your existing bag is Type C, we check that the liner and the grounding path actually work with it.

Built to your specification

Every one of these can be changed for your application, and a sample is supplied for trial fitment before bulk production.
