For the safety and ehs head

A conductive bag with a plain liner inside it is not a safe system.

Static control fails at the joins: a liner that holds charge inside a Type C bag, an earthing step that depends on an operator downstream, a secondary containment requirement satisfied on paper but not on the floor.

Measured on: Static, ignition risk, spills, audit findings, compliance

What changes

  • Type C works only where grounding is guaranteed at every transfer. Type D does not depend on the operator
  • The liner sits between the product and the bag, so a plain liner defeats a conductive bag
  • Conductive and aluminium barrier can be combined in one construction instead of double lining
  • Flexible spill bunds satisfy secondary containment without civil work and move with the equipment
  • Containment chambers are fabricated to your method statement and the governing regulation
