Conductive Type D Jumbo Bag
Antistatic protection with no earthing step to forget
Groundable FIBC for a controlled filling station
Type C bags only work if they are grounded. Where a reliable grounding connection cannot be guaranteed at every point in your process, a Type D bag is the safer choice.
If you already know you need static control, the real question is which type suits your site. We will answer that honestly, including telling you when Type C is the wrong choice.
Type C works only when it is earthed. The bonding point is built in.
A Type C, or groundable, FIBC is woven with conductive threads running through the fabric and joined to each other. When the bag is properly connected to earth during filling and discharge, the static charge created by the flow of product is carried away safely.
We advise on the choice rather than pushing whichever bag we would rather sell. Where a process cannot guarantee grounding at every transfer, we recommend Type D even though it changes the order. That advice is why customers come back to us.
Every one of these can be changed for your application, and a sample is supplied for trial fitment before bulk production.
