Net Baffle Jumbo Bag

Costs more per piece and less per tonne delivered

The problem it prevents

A round bag wastes the corners of every container. You are paying to ship air.

A standard FIBC swells into a round shape when it is filled, which wastes pallet space and container volume.

The baffle bag costs more per piece and less per tonne delivered, and the second number is the one that matters. If freight is a large part of your delivered cost, this is the easiest saving in the catalogue to prove with numbers.

What it is

A net baffle jumbo bag has net baffles stitched into all four corners inside, and these hold the bag in a square shape as it fills.

The bag stands upright, stacks square, and uses the available pallet and container space properly. In practice this means more product in every container and a real drop in freight cost per tonne.

Key features

  • Internal net baffles hold a square shape with no bulging
  • Better use of the pallet footprint and the container
  • More stable stacking and a safer warehouse
  • Net construction lets product flow between the compartments
  • Available with vented fabric

Specification

Materials
Woven polypropylene with net baffle inserts.
Sizes
Made to your pallet footprint and container plan.
Applications
Fertilisers, chemicals, minerals, food ingredients, and any export shipment where container fill matters.
Where it is used
Exporters shipping in containers, and warehouses that are short of floor space. It is strongest where freight is a large part of your delivered cost.

How we build it

We work out the baffle arrangement from your container plan and product density, so the shape gain is real for your load. A baffle bag designed for the wrong density does not hold its shape when filled.

Send us your load plan and we will work out bags per container before and after.

Built to your specification

Every one of these can be changed for your application, and a sample is supplied for trial fitment before bulk production.

  • Baffle type and position
