The problem it prevents
The container arrives locked and undamaged, and the goods inside are broken.
Container damage gets blamed on the shipping line, on the port, on rough handling. It is usually the void inside the container.
You paid for the goods, the freight and the packaging, and lost the lot to an empty gap that was never filled. Recovery rates on those claims are usually very low.

What it is
An inflatable bag placed in the empty space between pallets, or between the load and the container wall, and then inflated. It fills the void and holds the load firmly in place, so nothing can slide, tip or knock against anything else during transport.
