Pallet Shrink Hood

Makes the stack behave as one block

The problem it prevents

When a load collapses in transit, the whole pallet is a loss, not just the damaged carton.

Loads shift, lean and collapse on open transport and through multiple transfers. The percentage of pallets arriving with a leaning stack is usually higher than anyone wants to admit.

What it is

A heat-shrinkable hood that is pulled over the loaded pallet and then shrunk with heat so it grips the load tightly. The result is a sealed, weather-tight unit that holds the stack together and behaves like a single solid block during handling.

This is used where the load must stay stable through rough handling, multiple transfers or open transport, and where a loose cover would flap or tear away.

How we build it

The film has to shrink enough to grip firmly without splitting at the corners of the load. We work out the shrink ratio and thickness against your load shape and weight instead of supplying one general grade.

We will run a trial on your worst route, where the improvement will be most visible.
