Conductive Aluminium Liner
One liner replaces a double-lining arrangement
Static control that fits your existing earthing procedure
When flammable solvents, alcohols or fine powders are filled or discharged, the movement of the material against the liner wall builds up static charge. If that charge is allowed to collect, it can jump as a spark inside a headspace full of vapour.
This is a safety decision, not a purchase decision. Where a plant has had a near-miss, or where an insurer or auditor has raised static as a finding, the case is already made.
The liner is bonded to the same earth point the drum already uses.
A conductive drum liner carries the charge safely away to earth through the drum. The liner is made from conductive or static-dissipative film and is supplied with a defined grounding arrangement, so it fits into your existing earthing procedure without any change.
Our work has focused on combining static control with barrier performance in one liner. A plant that needs both usually double-lines, which is slow and expensive. We can supply a single conductive aluminium construction that does both jobs.
We will bring the grounding arrangement drawing to the first technical discussion.
Every one of these can be changed for your application, and a sample is supplied for trial fitment before bulk production.
